Food Allergies and the Skin
Food Allergies , Eczema, Psoriasis & Acne
Eczema and Food Allergies: Eczema, also called atopic dermatitis is a condition that causes an itchy, red, cracked, scaly rash with small blisters that can drip. Eczema occurs anywhere on the body, but is mostly found on the elbows, hands, face and behind the knees. A trigger for eczema is food allergies. When the foods triggering the response are discovered and then removed, the eczema can clear up as long as the foods are avoided.
Psoriasis and Food Allergies: Psoriasis occurs when skin cells have an abnormal replication rate. In psoriasis, the skin cells divide 10 times faster than in normal skin. Because of this fast replication, skin cells can’t shed so they accumulate which causes the silvery scale skin. If the immune system is weak or if digestion is not functioning properly one result can be psoriasis. “Delayed” Food Allergy Testing is important in psoriasis because you can learn which foods may be triggering this skin response. Then you can easily eliminate the foods from your daily diet which will help your body fight the condition easier.
Acne and Food Allergies: Your skin is an organ that eliminates toxins. An overabundance of toxins in the body can cause skin inflammation. This inflammation leads to clogged pores and acne. The best way to eliminate acne is to find its cause or toxin(s). Food allergies are a major cause of acne and skin blemishes. The worse the acne, the more food allergies an individual has. Eating “allergic foods” will lead to this “toxic reaction” called acne. The immune system is basically fighting off the toxic food as if it was invading the body to harm it. This is what causes the inflammation in the skin and the body’s need to eliminate the food toxin. Any food can be an allergy so it is important to have our “delayed” food allergy test to learn foods are causing your acne.
Skin tests do not test for “delayed” food allergies!
Our IgG delayed food allergy test can help improve the health and appearance of your skin!
Acne clears up fast!
“I always had minor breakouts as a teenager, but it drastically increased in my twenties. I tried several topical products with little or no results. We ran a delayed food allergy test and discovered the food I was eating was affecting my system and thus my skin. I saw results within a few weeks. Not only was my skin clearer, I had more energy and my allergy symptoms decreased also. I am so grateful to. Nutritionally Yours for helping me finally solve the mystery to my ongoing acne.”

LITTLE BOY WITH SKIN RASH ON CHEEKS
Just wanted to drop you a quick note about my son, William. Since you last saw him and suggested a protocol to help him, his cheek rash has completely cleared up. I have also removed tomatoes from his diet and his skin has 100% cleared. Best it has looked in 5 months! Just amazing!!! All of the MD allergist and pediatricians could not resolve it and simply gave me steroids for the persisting rash, refusing to investigate the root cause.
His sleeping has become so much more predictable and he now takes good long 3-4 hour naps each day. He is really thriving and happy! My mind has really been put at ease about his mysterious rash. I look forward to seeing you in a couple months.
Thanks for your support,
Kelly Kennedy
Note: If you use steroids pills or inhalers daily the test will not be accurate. The body needs to be free of steroids for 60 days. If you use a steroid inhaler once in awhile, then be off of the inhaler for at least 5 days prior to the blood draw.
